Halloween Update:

Yeah, I attribute my losing in office Halloween costume contests to fairly pedestrian costumes two years running to the fact that nobody knows just who the hell I'm supposed to be. Last year I lost to a pimp. A store-bought pimp costume. Fuck it. I can't wait to get out of this thing anyway now.

Boys and girls of every age
Wouldn't you like to see something strange?
Come with us and you will see
This, our town of Halloween
This is Halloween, this is Halloween
Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
This is Halloween, everybody make a scene
Trick or treat till the neighbors gonna die of fright
It's our town, everybody scream
In this town of Halloween...

HAPPY FRIGGIN' HALLOWEEN!

Well, I finally managed to get up the articles I wanted to before the holiday, although finding time to do it was no easy task. Fortunately, my job is just cushy enough to where I can bring a DVD into work and watch it in the corner of my screen while I do other things.

Right now, I'm looking quite like this:

And later on tonight, I'll be looking like this:

Yeah, I'm a real big dork. You don't have to tell me twice.

Now that this Halloween thing is out of the way, it's time to start thinking about the Christmas season, just around the corner. Again, I'll be dressing up the old site for the holiday, so you can look forward to getting all festive again.

Want to know why eBay rules? Check out this auction that I've permanently archived so that we can cherish it forever.

"Final Notice and Disclaimer: I know nothing about these stuffed Beanie Babies. I offer no proof of anything. It is a stuffed animal, get over it! I don't think my ex-wife was in the Black Market Beanie Trade..but then again, I didn't know she was having an affair either!"

Yes, I know I'm recycling. Sue me. I get a lot of people who find my site looking for Halloween costume ideas, so I thought the proper thing to do would be to do those folks a favor and repost my costume list from last year. It still works, and I've gussied it up some to make it look a little nicer.

Expect a couple more recycles this week, as I'm gonna try to have an update every day until the big day. I've still got a review or two to get posted, so there will be some brand new material as well.

Just as a public service, I'd like to announce that dressing up like Charlie Brown from "It's the Great Pumpkin" is not the brightest idea. At least without a lot more forethought than I managed to put into it. Oh, and don't try to dye polyester wigs at the eleventh hour.
